Peggy Scott Of Pan-American Life Insurance Named National Winner
MONTVALE, NJ and MENLO PARK, CA -- The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and Robert Half today announced that Peggy Scott, chief financial officer of New Orleans-based Pan-American Life Insurance, has been selected as the national winner of the 2004 Financial Executive of the Year Award. She was chosen from hundreds of nominations submitted throughout the country for executives demonstrating exceptional achievements in the finance and accounting fields.
During her career, Scott has managed several expansions, turnarounds and complex merger-and-acquisition transactions in the healthcare and insurance industries. A strong believer in community involvement, she has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations. Scott has also received a Reagan Presidential Citation for her work on Louisiana budgetary reform and was named

Peggy Scott was nominated by the Gulf South IMA Council and was selected as the national winner from a group of 23 regional winners. She will be honored during a ceremony today in New Orleans. Scott will also receive a $2,500 scholarship donated to the school of her choice.
