THE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS AND ROBERT HALF ACCEPT NOMINATIONS FOR FINANCIAL EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARDS
MONTVALE, NJ -- In recognition of the exceptional achievements of professionals in the finance and accounting fields, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and Robert Half (RHI) are cosponsoring the 2003 Financial Executive of the Year Awards. Nominations are being accepted through June 13, 2003.
Awards will be presented to outstanding professionals in each of the IMA's 24 participating regions of the United States. In addition, one nominee will receive the prestigious national award.
"This is the seventh consecutive year the IMA has presented these awards to acknowledge financial executives for their extraordinary accomplishments," said David Schweitz, CAE, Executive Director of the IMA. "We look forward to saluting this year's honorees."
"These awards are designed to distinguish our top financial community leaders and recognize them for their integrity and hard work," said Wayne Mello, Executive Director of Robert Half Finance & Accounting, a division of RHI. "We're looking for nominees who demonstrate a true commitment to the profession."
All winners will receive a complimentary two-year IMA membership, a special gift delivered to their place of work and an invitation to an honorary banquet where they will receive their award. In addition, the national winner will be awarded a three-year IMA membership, a $2,500 scholarship donated to the school of his or her choice and will be featured in Strategic Finance, IMA's national magazine.
