Jacqualyn Fouse Of Alcon, Inc. Named National Winner
MONTVALE, NJ and MENLO PARK, CA, November 17, 2005 -- The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and Robert Half today announced that Jacqualyn Fouse, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Fort Worth, Texas-based Alcon, Inc. (www.alconlabs.com), has been selected as the national winner of the 2005 Financial Executive of the Year Award. She was chosen from hundreds of nominations submitted throughout the country for executives demonstrating exceptional achievements in the finance and accounting fields.
During her tenure at Alcon, Fouse has implemented numerous cost-saving initiatives that have resulted in significant increases in the company’s gross profit margins. Committed to her community and academics, Fouse serves in a variety of roles with the University of Texas system and is heavily involved in Alcon’s global efforts to save sight and eliminate avoidable blindness.

Jacqualyn Fouse was nominated by the Texas IMA Council and was selected as the national winner from a group of 21 regional winners. She will be honored during a ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas on December 12 and will also receive a $2,500 scholarship donated to the school of her choice.
