Ron Riebe Of KeyBank Named National Financial Executive Of The Year
MONTVALE, N.J. and MENLO PARK, Calif. -- The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA®) and Robert Half International (RHI) today announced that Ron Riebe, vice president of Cleveland-based KeyBank (www.keybank.com), has been selected as the national winner of the 2006 Financial Executive of the Year Award. He was chosen from hundreds of nominations submitted throughout the country for executives demonstrating exceptional achievements in the finance and accounting fields.
Riebe, who joined KeyBank in 2002, is recognized for his role in contributing to the operational efficiency and profitability of his organization, including the development of automated financial models for various districts served by the company.
“The Financial Executive of the Year Award recognizes best-in-class management accounting and finance professionals,” said IMA President and CEO Paul Sharman. “As the national winner, Mr. Riebe is a perfect example of how a professional can provide value to an organization and the management accounting profession at large.”

Riebe was nominated by the Ohio IMA Council and was selected as the national winner from a group of 23 regional winners. He will be honored during a ceremony and also will receive a $2,500 scholarship donated to the school of his choice.
