Now Accepting Nominations For The 2006 Financial Executive Of The Year Award
MONTVALE, NJ and MENLO PARK, CA -- In recognition of the innovative and outstanding achievements of professionals in the finance and accounting fields, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and Robert Half are cosponsoring the 2006 Financial Executive of the Year Award. This is the fourth year the two organizations have collaborated to honor exceptional financial leaders. Nominations will be accepted today through May 31, 2006.
Awards will be presented in the fall to outstanding professionals in each of IMA’s participating U.S. regions. In addition, one nominee will receive the distinction as the national Financial Executive of the Year.
“IMA is pleased to continue the tradition of recognizing excellence through the Financial Executive of the Year Award,” said Paul Sharman, president and chief executive officer of IMA. “This award honors best-in-class management accounting and finance professionals who uphold IMA’s principles of leadership, pride and credibility in the profession.”

All regional winners will receive a two-year IMA membership, an award and will be featured in Strategic Finance, IMA’s award-winning magazine. In addition, the national winner will receive a three-year IMA membership and a $2,500 scholarship donated to the school of his or her choice.
